Applied Minimalism

mimimalist...I have a knack for coming up with ideas that are either so far ahead of their time, or so far behind, that their usefulness to real humans may be of little consequence. My most recent example of this phenomenon is the new Minimalist Colouring Book (for adults with discerning tastes and short-ish attention spans).

It seems that no matter how devoid of practicality these ideas may be, the artist in me must pursue them. At any rate, I’m making the first 10 pages available to you all for free. All I ask is that if you find any kind of actual solace or humour or use for these, that you let me know. Based on this demand (or lack thereof) I will (or won’t) create any more pages.

Yes! Both solace (I sigh sadly every time I see those “adult” colouring books in the stores, knowing I have neither the coordination, time, or patience to make them look anywhere near as pretty as my 11-year-old niece can) and humour! Thank you.

Catherine, I have that same reaction… sometimes it’s just nice to have something to colour in the lines, but those crazy celtic knots and detailed pages just look overwhelming to me.
